Damage to houses from the earthquake/ Balluku appeal to the citizens

Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku has spoken about the condolences given to those injured by the earthquake of November 26, 2019.

Balluku called on the citizens to use the money given by the Government for the reconstruction of the house and not for other family reasons.

"What needs to be said and is a call we make to the citizens is that the compensation given to them for the earthquake should be used for the reconstruction of houses and not for family use. We have seen this phenomenon unfortunately. Funds should be used for the reconstruction of housing", said Balluku.

As for the damage to the houses from the earthquake the night before, Balluku categorizes them as light.

"All the apartments have minor damage. There were no injuries to citizens", she said./ CNA.al
