PD deputy leaves the mandate/ Resignation from the ranks of the democrats in the

Fation Veizaj has resigned as deputy of the Democratic Party.

He announced that he took this step because the PD - according to him - is divided and for a year and a half he has not been able to put an end to this situation.

Dear friends,

When I had the honor to be elected deputy of the Democratic Party in Vlora District, I never thought about the division of the Democrats. Unfortunately, for a year and a half, the Democratic Party has not managed to end the division. Neither the leadership nor its deputies are responding to the Democrats' interest in making it a leading, respectable and winning force.

Vala e re e përjashtimeve në Partinë Demokratike ishte e tepert. Mund të jetë një vendim taktik në funksion të numrave në grup, por vendimi ul edhe me tepër besueshmërinë dhe seriozitetin për të ardhmen grupimit vendimarrës.

Kanë plot të drejtë demokratet në zemërimin, zhgënjimin, madje edhe sarkazmën e tyre. Të treja këto ndjesi i kam përjetuar gjatë këtyre diteve.

Në këtë kohë të trazuar për Partinë Demokratike, jam përpjekur të mos e ushqej përçarjen, të qendroj pranë zgjedhësve, të respektoj bindjet e tyre, por zhvillimet e fundit kanë treguar se ndarja në Partinë Demokratike është e pakthyeshme.

Categorically rejecting the exceptions on the one hand, but also the way used by certain individuals in search of personal power, without respecting the dignity of the elected deputies and consequently deepening the division on the other hand, I have decided to give up the mandate of the deputy.

I will continue to perform my duty as an opposition full-time, working with the opposition candidates for the best possible result in the local elections!
