Investments from the EU until the end of 2023 in Macedonia accounted for 29.3% of the Gross Domestic Product. The second is Serbia, the third is Montenegro, where these investments make up 26% of GDP, and instead of 4 comes Albania.

A few years ago, Albania adopted a temporary law. Law on Investments and Strategic Investors. At that time it was propagandized that this law with many fiscal benefits and even giving public assets would be used to absorb serious investors from the EU. The SP has brought again the request to postpone this law even though, as EUROSTAT says, the beneficiaries are not the international brands but the clients of the prime minister's court.
