The former Chief Prosecutor General of Albania during the years 2012-2017, Adriatik Llalla, has acquired the status of political asylum seeker in Italy.

Journalist Anduena Llabani said on the show Noë in Euronews Albania that Llalla is using some hot files to argue for asylum in Italy.

 "Llalla's ace up his sleeve is that he did not run away empty-handed, he received files, materials, letters of order that prove that Llalla was under tremendous pressure for important issues in Albania. One of these is the case of Bankers where Ambassador Lu went to the office that may have been used," said the journalist.
