Bozdo criticizes government's report on integration: Reform only on paper,

The Deputy Chairman of the Economy Committee, Enno Bozdo, has criticized the government's report on the European integration process, stating that the European Union does not mean just reforms on paper, but real improvement in the lives of citizens.

During discussions in the Commission, Bozdo said that the legislative process in the country has serious problems and that laws are often adopted without sufficient debate, failing to meet the standards required by the EU.

"The report presents reforms only on paper. The EU requires quality in the legislative process. This standard has failed and the legislative process has passed without any opportunity for discussion," he said, adding that some laws, such as the one on Ports and another referred to as "Durana", contradict European Union directives.

Bozdo also raised concerns about the state of industry in the country, noting that it only accounts for about 7% of GDP, while the regional average is 10%. According to him, the industrial sector remains among the most affected by current policies.

He also warned of problems in the energy sector, citing the risk of exclusion from the Energy Community Secretariat in Vienna due to a lack of reforms.
