Husband in prison/ Argita Malltezi: I am fighting for the right, the police dictated by Edi Rama's friends

The daughter of the former prime minister, Sali Berisha, Argita Malltezi has spoken about the moment of the arrest of her husband, Jamarbër Malltezi.

She said that the police were dictated by Edi Rama's political agenda.

"I couldn't meet. The timing of the action was well thought out. I got off the plane, talked to him. A little later he told me that I had been arrested. I had no information whatsoever. I expected everything. The police have been dictated by the political whims of Edi Rama. I would never have believed that a lawyer would write such a thing. I called my brother first. Later it became clear while I was coming to Tirana." , she said.

She says she is fighting for the right.

"Today I fight for the right. It is a solid legal battle. This is life," said Argita Malltezi.

And the children?

"Children reflect the state of their parents. I informed the girl, the boy was with his parents. That was the moment to take the situation in hand," said Argita./ CNA
