The state administrator is appointed / Who "took over" the seized

On October 20, GJKKO seized the assets of Jamarbë Malltez, a member of the National Council of the DP and the son-in-law of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.

Among the assets seized were apartments, villas, land, bank accounts, as well as shares in 3 companies, "Homeplan sh.pk", "Magnet IMO sh.pk" and "Magnet Gym and Fit".

After the seizure, the administration agency of the seized and confiscated assets appointed the state administrator.

Eglantina Osmanlli was appointed to administer the seized businesses of Malltez on October 24, while the decision was made public only today.

Specifically, Osmanlli will administer "Homeplan sh.pk", where Jamarbër Malltezi has 45% of the shares, "Magnet IMO sh.pk" where he has 100% of the shares and "Magnet Gym and Fit", where he has 60% of the shares.

We remind you that the son-in-law of the former prime minister Berisha was arrested on October 21 at Rinas airport, just as he had arrived to meet his wife.

Malltez is charged with "Passive corruption of high state officials or local elected officials", carried out in collaboration with Berisha.

Also, he is suspected of having committed the criminal offense of "Cleaning the proceeds of a criminal offense or criminal activity" in cooperation with the builder.

SPAK claims that Berisha, in his capacity as Prime Minister, has favored the privatization procedures of the former "Partizani" complex and the direct beneficiary has been Malltezi.

On the land of the former "Partizani" complex, Malltezi, as an investor from the company "Homeplan" sh.pk, has carried out constructions and the benefits are calculated in the amount of 672 billion lek or 5 million euros./  CNA
