The Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, has held a meeting with the head of the KLP, Alfred Balla, to discuss the tougher criminal policy against arson.

Balla has requested that the punishments for the criminal offenses of distributing narcotics within the territory of schools be toughened.

 "The High Prosecution Council supports the Ministry of the Interior and the State Police in intensifying the crackdown on the phenomenon of the distribution of narcotics and positively evaluates the proposal to toughen the penalties for criminal offenses committed within the security perimeter of schools," the announcement said. .

Another point of discussion between the two leaders was the efficiency of the Judicial Police Officers at the Police Directorates, where the KLP notes a lack of stability, which is caused by the numerous movements among the ranks of these officers.

The two leaders also discussed the activities of the Prosecutors' Protection Commission, where there are representatives of the Ministry of the Interior and the General Directorate of Police./ CNA
