The British Embassy praises Duman/"Success in the fight against corruption"

The British Embassy in Tirana has congratulated the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, for being recognized as an Anti-Corruption Champion by the US State Department.

The embassy emphasizes that this prestigious award highlights Duman's extraordinary efforts in directing the work of SPAK to fight corruption and organized crime.

This is essential for the progress of Albania's reforms and to ensure the trust of its citizens, the British Embassy underlines.

"Under the direction of Mr. Dumani, SPAK has acted with integrity, responsibility and in the interest of the rule of law. His dedication has supported SPAK to deliver a consistent and successful performance in dealing with high-level corruption and powerful criminal groups," said a post from the British Embassy.

The Embassy states that, "The United Kingdom Government remains determined to support the SPAK and Albania's justice reforms. Through our close cooperation, we will continue to fight corruption, fight organized crime and strengthen the rule of law."

Earlier, Dumani was also appreciated by other diplomatic representations in our country, such as the US and German embassies, while emphasizing the steadfast support for SPAK's work./ CNA
