Altin Dumani, the candidate rumored in the media as the favorite of the American ambassador, Yuri Kim, was elected the new chairman of SPAK.

Dumani was elected instead of Arben Kraja with 5 votes of the members of the High Council of Prosecution.

Specifically, the new head of SPAK was supported by votes from Bujar Sheshi, Zeqir Hoda, Ledina Riza, Eloida Goxhi, Arta Mandro.

The other candidate Edvin Kondili was voted by Alfred Balla, Tartar Bazaj, Nurihan Seiti and Mirela Bogdani, while Adnan Xholi received only the vote of Sokol Stojani.

The meeting of the High Prosecution Council for the new head of SPAK lasted for more than 5 hours.
