The deputy of the Democratic Party, Enkelejd Alibeaj, has condemned the punching of the chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha.

By not participating in the protest, but through a post on Twitter, he described this act as reprehensible and demanded an urgent clarification from the justice authorities.

" I strongly condemn today's act of violence against Sali Berisha. The attack on any politician, on any individual, is a reprehensible and inappropriate act in a functioning democratic state.

Today's incident must be clarified urgently by the responsible bodies, while the culture of violence must be excluded once and for all from the political developments in Albania" , wrote Alibeaj./ CNA.al
