The lack of salaries for seven months and drastic staff cuts have led to protests by employees of the Bankers Petroleum insurance company.
They are seeking urgent solutions to the financial situation they are in.
Of the 380 employees it previously had, only 120 remain in the company, who declare that they have not received their salaries for seven months. According to them, despite the difficulties, work has continued without any financial guarantees.
The employees demand immediate intervention from the company's leaders and responsible institutions, while warning that the protests will continue in parallel with work until the issue is finally resolved.
They are demanding the payment of back wages and security for their future employment./CNA
