30 years since the enthronement of Archbishop Anastas/ The canonical revival of

Today, August 2, 2022, marks 30 years since the enthronement of the first Archbishop after the proclamation of freedom of faith and the start of a new period of resurrection from the ruins of our martyred Church.

The enthronement of the Archbishop was carried out, after a series of negotiations with the competent Albanian authorities, in the "Evangelization of the Virgin" Cathedral Church in Tirana, on August 2, 1992, in the presence of all the clergy (survivors of the fierce communist persecution), as well as the laity. from all dioceses of Albania.

Gjatë Liturgjisë Hyjnore u lexua zyrtarisht Letra Patriarkale dhe Sinodike (nr. proto 936, 16 korrik 1992), «Drejtuar Klerit dhe popullit të Kishës Orthodhokse të Shqipërisë». Liturgjia Hyjnore, si edhe ceremonia e thjeshtë e fronëzimit u kryen sipas rregullave.

Ky çast shënoi ripërtëritjen e Autoqefalisë të Kishës Orthodhokse Autoqefale të Shqipërisë, të vënë në diskutim nga shkatërrimi total që bëri regjimi komunist.

Kjo ngjarje ishte shpallje e lajmit të mirë se Kisha e Shqipërisë jetonte dhe askush nuk do të mundte më t’i ndalonte veprën shpirtërore të ndriçuar nga Perëndia në dobi të gjithë shoqërisë shqiptare.

Viti 1992 gjeti një Komunitet Orthodhoks me pak kisha që kishin shpëtuar shkatërrimit, pa objekte administrative, pa klerikë dhe me besimtarë të mbajtur me dhunë larg Kishës dhe të edukuar që të mohonin Perëndinë.

Since that time, the Archbishop started the work exactly where he had stopped, in the formation of the clergy and the rebuilding of the churches, to extend it more and more in many other fields, social, educational, educational, cultural, etc.

It was precisely this tenacity, dedication and rare ability that attracted the trust, appreciation and love of the Orthodox believers, who appreciated him as the most suitable person to continue this work even further.

The Church already has at its head a distinguished head shepherd, who not only reborn and resurrected it from the grace of atheism, but also made it equal and recognized in the world in all sister Orthodox Churches and beyond.

So even today, as thanks to God, in the "Resurrection of Christ" cathedral, Tirana, the panegyric Divine Liturgy will be performed. /CNA.al
