The 28-year-old Albanian woman lost her life in Greece

A 28-year-old woman originally from Albania lost her life and a 19-year-old man was seriously injured on Saturday evening, in Aspropyrgos, when a vehicle hit the motorbike they were riding on.

The accident happened on the National Highway when a 21-year-old driver, while in the flow of traffic towards Athens, decided to turn left and head towards Neoktista of Aspropirgos. 

His car collided with two wheels, the riders fell on the road, but the 21-year-old hurried to disappear to avoid arrest.

However, eyewitnesses saw the collision and alerted the Police, giving a description of the car.

A little later, OPKE officers found him and arrested him, as the Road Traffic Code provides, to face the justice system./ CNA
