The 10 shortest European prime ministers in government / Three Albanians among

Liz Truss, the Prime Minister of Great Britain resigned the day before.

She announced today that she is resigning from her post and that she will remain in the government until the next prime minister's election.

"I came to office in an unstable economic and political time. I was elected by the Conservatives to change this situation. Looking at the situation, I cannot fulfill the mandate with which the conservatives entrusted me. I will remain in office until a successor is chosen," said Liz Truss.

Truss lasted just 45 days as prime minister, but she is not the only leader of the shortest-lived government.

The following ten prime ministers also include three Albanians.

Albanian Prime Minister Fatos Nano has been in government for 103 days, Albin Kurti, Prime Minister of Kosovo, has been in office for 121 days and the Prime Minister of Montenegro, Dritan Abazovic, has only been in office for 176 days.
