The troubles do not end with justice for the businessman of Albanian origin Gezim Sallaku.

According to the Italian media, the Financial Police of Brescia has carried out the measure of personal prevention of special public security supervision with the obligation to stay in the municipality of residence, as well as the seizure of immovable and movable assets up to the amount of over 5.8 million euros

Sallaku is considered a high risk person by Italian justice, as he has previous criminal records.

The seizure was ordered after complex investigations of an economic, property and income nature, which revealed a significant disproportion between his standard of living and the income declared by him to the tax authorities.

According to the same media, a villa in Sale Marasino and a hotel as well as money and valuables have been seized.

 In 2015, Sallaku was arrested and a few months ago he was acquitted in Mantua of the charge of laundering and receiving stolen goods. But this is not the only procedure open to him./ CNA.al
