Confindustria, assessing the extraordinary and long-term consequences of the global energy crisis on the national economy, asks the government of Albania to establish the Emergency Fund and the Energy Crisis Management Strategy. Also, the creation of the Albania-Kosovo Common Energy Market is a necessity and must be accelerated.

Konfindustria kërkon, që në llogari të Fondit të Energjisë të kalojnë përvec të tjerash edhe financimet e plota ose të pjesshme, që sot bëhen për koncesione, PPP me rëndësi jo parësore si dhe fondet e investimeve kapitale jo të rëndësishme.

Krijimi i një kompanie të vetme të tipit holding, që do përfshinte KESh dhe OSSHE dhe mënjanimi i të tretëve/sekserëve “ në shitje- blerjet e energjisë do të krijonte kushtet për uljen e kostove financiare të paarsyeshme të mëdha të sotme dhe do ishte masë efektive kundër korrupsionit masiv.

Konfindustria vlerëson, se pasojat e krizës globale të energjisë do të jenë shkatërrimtare për biznesin prodhues, industritë dhe qytetarët e Shqipërisë dhe Kosovës me falimentime masive, papunësi dhe deri rrezikim të rendit kushtetues, nëse nuk merren masa parandaluese.

Albania and Kosovo have all the natural possibilities and the particularities of the energy systems, so that with political will they can not only successfully cope with the global energy crisis, but also have great strategic benefits.

Albania produces almost 100% of energy from water with installed capacities that exceed by nearly 30 of its needs. Kosovo has lignite reserves of world importance. The above makes the Albanian states almost independent from changes in energy markets from Russian gas. Not to mention the rather large and completely untapped potentials of solar energy, wind, etc.
