International search for incinerators/ Stela Gugallja and Klodian Zoto seek political asylum in Vienna

Stela Gugallja and Klodian Zoto, the two persons declared wanted after the SPAK investigation for the Elbasan incinerator, seek political asylum in Vienna, Austria.

The news was announced this evening by the head of LSI, Monika Kryemadhi, in an interview on "Syri TV".

" They are cohabitants and live in Vienna. And they are fighting to get political asylum because it is one of the other problems they are dealing with. I would suggest you to ask the Albanian Interpol if they are informed about the lives of Stela Gugallja, Klodian Zoto and Mirel Mërtir. We remind you that Stela Gugallja is the owner of the Albtek Energy company, while Klodian Zoto is the owner of the Integrated Technology Services company.

They continue to be searched as part of the investigations for the Elbasan incinerator concession.

The suspects are accused of corruption of high officials and money laundering.
