But what happened? The process bled a week before the election. The armed structures set up by Gazment Bardhi, claiming to defend the vote, allegedly shot at Pjerin Xhuvani, a murder that has not yet been uncovered today, and which has been commented on with a political background.

The reaction of the then chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, surprises everyone, as he calmly declared that he was not impressed by that serious criminal event. ?For 8 years, Elbasan has been under the rule of gangs that have formed an alliance with Rama? – declared Basha on April 22, 2021 in the show ?Open? on Top Channel.

The elections took place in these circumstances, the process continued normally and the DP led by Lulzim Basha, was facing poor results. On the afternoon of April 25, Lulzim Basha issued a statement to the media pretending that they had won, as the ?good ballot boxes? had not yet been counted.

But, the ballot boxes were all counted, and it turned out that Lulzim Basha had failed and lost badly in these elections as well. Basha appeared again in the media, this time talking about battles and wars. ?The war starts today. April 25 was an election massacre. Our battle has just started?- declared Basha.

After Basha?s words, the opposition mobilized to denounce the elections in the third link of the CEC, the Complaints and Sanctions Commission. She complained about the results of 9 districts, in which she suffered a severe defeat against the SP. But these bodies asked the DP to present additional evidence, that would prove the election massacre.

The appeals process was transferred to the Electoral College, but again didn?t produce a change in the result, where the demands of the PD and LSI were rejected one after the other. The epilogue is that Lulzim Basha had collected the next loss, but this time with murder and bullets.

Today he is outside the doors of the Democratic Party. Democrats fired him, showed him the right place, listed his loses and failures, put him on the wall with their shoulders, removed the blinds from the DP offices and are already choosing their structures free and united, to go towards victory in the next elections./CNA.al
