Intel postpones opening ceremony / Reason, lack of funds

For reasons of funding Intel postponed the groundbreaking ceremony for the planned facilities in Ohio. The news was made by the company itself which pointed out that there is no set date regarding the opening of the ceremony.

The company has also informed U.S. lawmakers about the decision, explaining that the postponement of the ceremony is due to the ambiguity created by them regarding the Chips Act.

The CHIPS Act aims to provide $ 52 billion in funding to technology companies, including Intel, to promote chip production in the United States. Although the Senate and the House of Representatives have approved their versions of this law, finalization has stalled in Congress./ CNA.al
