Elon Musk faces challenges/"Twitter" risks large fines from American regulators

Billionaire Elon Musk

The hacking of several high-profile Twitter accounts in 2011 has put the company under surveillance for security practices by the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) for 20 years.

Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter made him the owner of a company that will be under the watch of the US government's consumer protection agency until 2042.

The unreliability of American regulators has been increased by the many changes of "Twitter" after taking over from Musk.

David Vladeck, një profesor i drejtësisë në Universitetin Georgetown, i cili ka shërbyer si drejtor i Byrosë së Mbrojtjes së Konsumatorit të FTC-së, beson se “Twitter” tashmë mund të mos jetë në përputhje me urdhrin e vitit 2022.

Ky urdhër parashikon që “Twitter” të përgatiste një vlerësim fillestar që do të dorëzohet në janar duke përshkruar në detaje se si kjo kompani po përmbush kërkesat për të rifituar besimin.
