OFFICIAL/ Milan makes the most expensive sale in history

Tijjani Reijnders is officially a Manchester City player. Milan and the English club have made his transfer official.

The final deal is worth a total of 70 million euros and becomes the most expensive sale in Milan's history, breaking the record of Kaka, who was sold for 67 million euros to Real Madrid in 2009.

The 26-year-old Dutch midfielder will join the English team just before the start of the Club World Cup.

He replaces Kevin De Bruyne, who is expected to move to Napoli. Reijnders comes after two seasons at Milan and has been named the best midfielder in Serie A for the 2024/2025 season. Last season he scored 15 goals in 54 games.

The signing of Reijnders represents another significant move for Manchester City in the summer transfer window. The player has stated that his dream has been to play in the Premier League.
