VIDEO/ The unstoppable Muriqi shines with a double goal in a few minutes

Vedat Muriqi scored twice in Mallorca's La Liga match against Athletic Bilbao today. The first half of this match ended in a 2-2 draw, with the Kosovo striker scoring first in the fifth minute.

In the 42nd minute, he scored his second personal goal after following the ball expected by the goalkeeper after the penalty kick.

With these two goals, Muriqi reaches the quota of 13 goals in 20 weeks of the championship, ranking second on the list of scorers behind Kylian Mbappe. Currently, Mbappe leads the race for the "Golden Boot" in La Liga with 19 goals scored.

Muriqi has now become the second highest-scoring player in Mallorca's history in the Spanish top flight. This record is still held by former striker Samuel Eto'o.
