Italian football in mourning! Fiorentina president passes away

Italian football is in mourning after the death of Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso.

The leader of the purple club has passed away at the age of 76. The news was announced through an official announcement from the Commisso family and the Fiorentina club.

The statement said the president passed away surrounded by his family. Rocco Commisso took over Fiorentina in 2019.

During his tenure, the club regularly participated in the Italian championship and European competitions. Under Commisso's leadership, Fiorentina reached two Conference League finals and one Coppa Italia final.
