Cynical Inter, the Black and Blues break away at the top of Serie A

Inter won 1-0 against Lecce at the San Siro, moving back to the top of Serie A.

The match was dominated by the Blue and Blacks, who created several chances in the first half, but failed to score.

Bonny and Zielinski came close to scoring, while a penalty initially awarded to Inter was overturned after a VAR review.

Even in the second half, Inter continued the pressure, but was stopped several times by goalkeeper Falcone's interventions.

The only goal of the match came 12 minutes from the end, when Esposito took advantage of the rebound after Lautaro Martinez's shot.

Inter recorded their 12th win in 14 league matches. With this success, the Blues lead the table by six points over second-placed Milan.

Lecce remains close to the relegation zone after its third consecutive defeat.
