Reported dead in tragic accident, former Premier League footballer suspected to be alive

The family of a former Premier League player who reportedly died after a fatal car crash are convinced his death was faked.

Former Bolton and Aston Villa defender Xloyd Samuel was killed in 2018 when his Range Rover collided with a van in Manchester while he was driving in the countryside.

The impact was so strong that it caused the expensive car to burst into flames and Samuel's body was instantly burnt. There were tributes to the former England Under-21 star and his Villains club honored him by wearing black armbands in their play-off match against Middlesbrough.

But in a shocking turn of events, his family insisted Samuel's death was faked by his wife so she could benefit from the insurance scheme.

"Daily Star" writes that she prevented the police from doing the DNA test on the victim's body.
