Punished against Valencia, Bellingham suspended

Jude Bellingham has been disqualified for two games after the red card he received at "Mestalla" last Saturday at the end of the Valencia-Real Madrid match.

The English midfielder could not contain his anger at the decision of referee Gil Manzano, who blew the whistle for the end of the match, while the phenomenon of Real Madrid scored the goal that made the result 3-2 for Madrid.

"In the 99th minute, the Bellingham player was sent off for this reason: after the end of the match, still on the field, he ran towards me aggressively and shouted, repeating several times: "It's a goal", it says in the referee's report.

Real now have 10 days to appeal to prevent Bellingham from missing the two games against Celta and Osasuna in the Spanish league.
