Defeated by Gjimshiti, Xhaka: The big sin that happened to us in the final

Bayer Leverkusen suffered its first defeat this season and it happened in the Europa League final against Atalanta.

After the match, the Albanian midfielder, Granit Xhaka, appeared disappointed, for the loss, where he faced another Albanian, Berat Gjimshitin.

Xhaka stated that it is a great sin that the team did not work right in the final.

"Unfortunately, we lost an important final, we had said it would be a difficult match. It is a great sin that things did not work out for us in this particular final. Until this match, we had left a very good impression. The fact that we weren't able to do what we usually do so well is part of the game of football, we have to accept the reality.

I have few words to say, Atalanta deserved to win because they played very well. We have to look ahead, because we have another final to play in the German Cup. Nothing worked for us against Atalanta. It's a sin that it happened to us right in the final of the Europa League, but we have to look ahead", declared Xhaka.
