Three weeks in a coma, good news for goalkeeper Rico

Good news comes from Spain about the condition of Sergio Rico.

The goalkeeper of Paris Saint-Germain has woken up from a coma after three weeks, and according to reports from the Spanish media, he is now conscious and has started to communicate with family members with gestures.

His wife Alba Silva told reporters, who were waiting outside the hospital to get information about Rico's condition, that the goalkeeper is recovering little by little.

"We are taking small steps forward and we are starting to see the light. Slowly, we need a lot of patience, " she said.

Rico was the victim of a serious accident on May 28, when he was knocked down and attacked by a horse in El Rocio, a village in Andalusia. He has since been admitted to the Virgen del Rocio hospital in Seville.
