Tragedy claims the life of 25-year-old footballer, President Duka sends message of condolences

The President of the Albanian Football Federation, Armand Duka, has published a message of condolence for the tragic event in North Macedonia, where dozens of people lost their lives after a fire broke out in a discotheque in Kocani.

Among the victims was Skopje footballer Andrej Lazaroz. The 25-year-old did not survive his injuries.

The Duke expressed his condolences to the family of the footballer and the Skopje club, while saying that he hopes it will be over with.

"Saddened by the tragic event in North Macedonia, where dozens of people lost their lives in Kocani, including Skopje footballer Andrej Lazarov.

"I want to express my condolences to the Skopje club, Lazarov's family and the relatives of all the victims of this tragic event, which we hope will be over with and no more lives will be lost," Duka wrote.
