Shakira-Pike's divorce "drama" deepens/ After the singer's statement, the footballer reacts

"Sometimes I feel like it's all a bad dream and I'll wake up at some point." This is how Shakira defined the period of separation from Gerard Pique.

Three months after their separation, the singer decided to have her say in an interview for "Elle", where, among other things, she showed that it was the earliest period of her life.

After Shakira's statements, the footballer has also reacted recently, who considers all this a victimization on the part of his ex-partner. Pique considers such claims to be revenge and believes that Shakira is playing the victim.

"I've been keeping quiet and just trying to process it all," Shakira further told Elle after appearing on the October cover. Shakira, who has two sons Milan, 9, and Sasha, 7, with Gerard said: "Um, and yes, it's hard to talk about it, especially because I'm still experiencing it as a thing, and because I'm in the eye of the public and because our division is not like a regular division. And so it has been difficult not only for me, but also for my children, very difficult".

"I have paparazzi camping outside in front of my house 24/7," added Shakira. “And there is no place where I can hide from them with my children except my home. You know, we can't take a walk in the park like a normal family or go out for ice cream or do any activity without the paparazzi following us. So it's difficult."

In early June, Shakira and Gerard - who tied the knot in 2011 - jointly confirmed their split. "We regret to confirm that we are separating," they said in a statement. "For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect their privacy. Thank you for understanding."
