Everyone goes crazy for Argentina, the champion! Over 1.4 million requests for tickets for a friendly match

Demand from fans to attend the challenge was overwhelming and the Argentine FA reported an incredible 1.4 million applications on the ticketing site. Only 63,000 of these have gone to the lucky few who managed to secure the tickets which evaporated in less than two hours.

But not only the fans, also the media have made extraordinary requests to be present in this match. It is known that the Argentine Federation has received 131,000 applications from media representatives who want to closely follow the first match where Argentina will wear the shirt with the emblem of the World Champion.

"We will need two stadiums just for journalists," said Çiki Tapia, the president of the Argentine Federation, with humor, after announcing the extraordinary figures.
