Champions League / "Fan" of Napoli, the legend Lineker reveals the special bet

Gary Lineker has made a "very rare bet" for Napoli to win their first Champions League title at the start of the season and now the Italian giants are in the quarter-finals of the tournament.

In addition, with only one loss (against Liverpool when they were qualified), they are one of the most dangerous teams in the competition, since apart from dominating Serie A, they have shown a lot of strength in Europe as well. If we do not take the Europa League as a basis, Luciano Spalletti's team is the most "prolific" team in the Champions League this season, having scored 25 goals in just eight games - three more than the favorites Manchester City. Lineker revealed his bet on social media, proving his support for Luciano Spalletti's side and their chances of lifting the trophy.

Everything by posting on his personal profile on "Twitter", where he wrote: "I really enjoy watching Napoli. They play such exciting football. I made a very rare bet for them to win the Champions League this season, a few months ago."

Napoli were quoted at odds of 66 at the start of the season but have now dropped to 11 with two rounds to go before the final in Istanbul on June 10.
