Special success for McLaren in Formula 1, Norris triumphs in Hungary

Lando Norris triumphed in the Hungarian Grand Prix. The Briton recorded his sixth victory of the season and third in the last four races.

The McLaren driver, despite a poor start from the second row, lived up to expectations thanks to an efficient one-stop pit strategy.

Norris' teammate Oscar Piastri finished the race in second place. The Australian tried to push hard against the Briton at the end, but was unable to overtake him.

Charles Leclerc, who started the race from pole position, led for about half the laps, but was penalized by an ineffective braking strategy and problems with the car's stability. On the third lap, Ferrari applied hard-type tires, which proved ineffective in the track temperatures. According to radio communications, the pilot expressed dissatisfaction with the failure to respect his recommendations from the pits, while mentioning problems with the chassis stability.

In the closing laps, he was also overtaken by Mercedes' George Russell, who benefited from his car's more consistent performance towards the end. However, Russell received a five-second penalty for obstructing Leclerc, and finished the race in third place.

Fernando Alonso, in the Aston Martin, finished in fifth place, having driven a consistent race, without mistakes and with good pit management. Then in sixth place was Bortoleto in the Sauber, who finished in the top points for the first time this season.

Norris' victory was also special for McLaren, as it marks the 200th triumph in the history of this team in Formula 1. An achievement that places the British team on another symbolic level in the statistics of the most important races in the world of motorsports.
