Today, the Nations League draw is made, here are Albania's potential rivals

Today, the Albanian national team will also learn the opponents in the Nations League. The draw for the 2024-2025 UEFA Nations League, the fourth in history, will take place in Paris at 18:00. The Albanian national team is in League B in the third pot and in the same pot as the red and black are Slovenia, Ireland and Montenegro.

The other opponents of League B, who are expected to be Albania's potential rivals in the League of Nations, are divided into three other pots with four teams each, where Austria, the Czech Republic, England and Wales are in the first pot. In the second pot are: Finland, Ukraine, Iceland and Norway, while in the fourth pot there are teams like: Georgia, Greece, Turkey and Kazakhstan.

The matches will be played according to the round-trip system. Everything will start in September of this year, where Albania will play the first two challenges, then in October the other two matches will be played and in November everything will end with the last two challenges of the group.

The Nations League competition has raised the bar in the 2018-2019 season. In the first two seasons, Albania competed in the C League and after the success achieved in the 2020-2021 season by being ranked first in Group 4 of the C League, it has advanced to the B League. This season, the Reds and Blacks are also in the B League. while the goal is to move to League A.
