Sinner makes history, "breaks" Alcaraz and wins Wimbledon

Jannik Sinner has made Italian tennis history by becoming the first player from Italy to win the Wimbledon title. The world number one defeated Carlos Alcaraz in the final with a score of 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 after more than three hours of play.

Despite losing the first set, Sinner quickly regained control of the match and never dropped a serve. This was his fourth Grand Slam title of his career, following two victories at the Australian Open and another at the US Open. With this triumph, he also redeemed the disappointment of Roland Garros.

The victory at Wimbledon is his first in a major European tournament. With this success, he consolidates his position as the undisputed leader of the world rankings. Sinner is already the most representative figure in the history of Italian tennis.
