Silvinho with dilemmas in goal and midfield/ The coach surprises everyone with his choices

The Albanian national football team continues preparations for the matches against Moldova and the Faroe Islands, which will play in the coming weeks in the "Euro 2024" qualifiers. Coach Silvinjo sees the group of footballers being added little by little, as most of them have closed the activities and engagements they had with the respective clubs.

Yesterday, Gjimshiti, Ismajli, Bajrami, Bare and Aliji joined the group, with the latter replacing the injured Balli. They have continued to work normally according to Silvinho's program, while it is expected that the group will be completed in the coming days. Taulant Seferi, Elseid Hysaj, Jasir Asani and Kristjan Asllani are the four missing names who will join the group in the coming days.

Asllani is expected to be the last to join the squad, as he will be in the Champions League final this weekend with Inter. And in case of success, it is not surprising that his return to Albania will be postponed a few more days.

Against a team like Moldova, which applies a defensive scheme and most of the time sits back and waits, it will take a good strategy to find the edge. But, Silvinho should not worry about this part, as the red and black attack is in shape, with almost all the footballers. Uzuni, Seferi, Cikalleshi, Asani, Muçi or Sadiku have been in constant contact with the goal.

As we take a look at the defense, although the absence of Kumbulla is important, the return of Gjimshtiti and Ismajli and most likely the switch of Hysaj to the right, provide a guarantee at the back. But what remains a problem is the goal, when two of the main goalkeepers have had problems this season and have not been active at all. As for the midfield, the dilemmas also remain, since from a high number of alternatives, Silvinho has to choose only three.
