European Games 2023/ Albania participates with 11 athletes, find out the names

We are now less than two weeks away from the third edition of the European Games, which will be held in Krakow and Malopolska, Poland from June 21 to July 2. 48 countries will participate in this sports event, which will compete in 29 different sports in 253 events in total.

Albania will also be represented at the 2023 European Games, which will travel to Poland with 11 athletes. The Albanian National Olympic Committee has published the red and black national team of the European Games. Thus, Albania will compete with 4 boxers, starting with the former world medalist, Alban Beqiri, to continue with Ardit Murje, Redis Karaj and Gelian Rojku. Although a not very developed sport in our country, Massimo Mari will defend the colors of the red and black flag in fencing. Alvin Karaqi will compete in karate, Marko Montanaro and Fjoralb Curri in padel, Manjola Konini in shooting, Jurido Cani in taekwondo and Fransua Shabani in taekwondo.

We recall that for the first time the European Games were held in 2015, an event that took place in Baku, while four years later, in 2019, they were held in Minsk. All Olympic sports in this event will offer athletes the opportunity to qualify for the "Paris 2024" Olympic Games, the largest world sports event to be held next summer in the French capital.
