Albania U-16 defeated in friendly by Hungary

The Albanian U-16 national team played its first friendly match against Hungary today at the "House of Football". The Red and Blacks were defeated 0-2.

Coach Andrea Tedesco started the match with this starting lineup: Simon Lleshi (GK), Elton Dodaj, Frensi Mali, Petro Marku, Emiljanko Malko, Afrim Gashi, Kledi Qosja, Eris Kurtulaj, Arber Lleshi, Alvin Zekaj (C), Denis Matraku.

Albania created the first dangerous chance with Kledi Qosje, who tried a shot in the 7th minute, but the opposing goalkeeper stopped the ball. The Red and Blacks were more demanding and came close to scoring again in the 21st minute, when Alvin Zekaj shot from inside the area, but again the goalkeeper saved the shot.

The first half ended with the net intact.

The second half started better for Hungary, who took the lead with a goal from Varga Zsolt. The visitors then doubled their lead thanks to a penalty, which was correctly converted by Polonkai Noel.

The match ended with a score of 0-2, despite the Rossoneri's efforts to find the net until the end.

The second friendly match between Albania U-16 and Hungary U-16 will be played on Thursday, at the "House of Football", at 2:30 PM.
