Armando Broja has become a hot topic at Everton. The Albanian striker, who is currently out with an injury, is working hard on his recovery with the aim of returning to the pitch as soon as possible and helping his team. Meanwhile, his future remains unclear, with speculation rife about a return to Chelsea or a permanent move to Everton.
The latter, who loaned Brog from Chelsea during the summer transfer window, had high expectations. The club needed a new striker to bring freshness and efficiency to the attacking department. However, his injury has complicated this process, causing the club's directors to reconsider their options.
In early February, various reports in the British media suggested that Everton were considering returning Brog to Chelsea earlier than expected, cutting short his loan deal due to fitness issues and his limited impact on the team so far. Such a move would have been a blow to the Albanian striker, who is looking to find stability in his career after a difficult period with injuries.
However, the situation has taken an unexpected turn. According to British media, Everton manager David Moyes has shown great faith in Broja and has influenced the club to consider his permanent purchase from Chelsea in the summer. Despite previous speculation, it seems that Everton do not want to lose the Albanian talent and see him as an important part of their future plans.
One of the main reasons for this change of attitude is the positive progress in his recovery. Everton's medical staff are optimistic that Broja will be ready for the latter part of the season, where he could have the opportunity to show his worth and finally convince the club to keep him.
A key aspect of this issue is Chelsea's position. The London Blues still have the right to Broge's card and will have the final say on whether he stays at Everton or not.
Broja may not have enough space at Chelsea to be a regular starter, which could make a permanent move to Everton a better option for both sides.
The Albanian's future remains uncertain, but what is known is that Everton are seriously considering the possibility of signing him. If his recovery goes according to plan and he manages to contribute to Moyes' team over the coming months, then the chances of him staying at Goodison Park increase significantly.
For now, the only thing that remains to be seen is how his recovery will go and how he will perform on the pitch once he is ready to play. Everton are increasingly placing their faith in him, and this could be a golden opportunity for the Albanian striker to show that he is ready to excel in English football.
