Partizan club explodes: Inexplicable arrogance! Ugly scenes, a consequence of

Partizan has reacted harshly to the State Police, following the incidents that occurred in the derby against Tirana.

A statement from the club said that the Police had refused to take over the security. Also, according to Partizan, the ugly scenes are a direct consequence of the lack of coordination, cooperation and readiness on the part of the Police.

FK Partizani strongly condemns the incidents that occurred today in the derby held at the "Arena e Demave", incidents that could have been avoided if the responsible structures had acted responsibly and professionally.

Since February 3, 2025, representatives of our club have repeatedly requested a meeting with the Tirana Police Department and Police Station No. 4, to cooperate and coordinate the organization of the derby at this stadium, given that it was the first time that this meeting was held in this arena. Unfortunately, not only did the leaders of these institutions refuse to meet with us, but with inexplicable arrogance they declared that they would not undertake the security of this event, requesting not to be contacted again on this matter.

We have also been in constant communication with the Albanian Football Federation, in order for this match to take place normally, including both fans in the stadium. The Albanian Football Federation has confirmed the match and has asked us to take the appropriate measures within the framework of the responsibilities of a football club, which we have fully respected.

Today, as a result of the same irresponsible and arrogant mindset, the State Police arrived late to the match, creating a security vacuum, which caused the clashes between the two fan groups to be transferred inside the stadium. The ugly scenes of violence, which occurred before the start of the match, are a direct consequence of the lack of coordination, cooperation and preparedness on the part of the Police.

As a result, we regret to note that several fans and police officers were injured, a situation that could have been completely avoided if law enforcement officials had carried out their duties with the seriousness and dedication that such an event requires. This behavior of some irresponsible leaders in the State Police damages the reputation of this institution and undermines citizens' trust in law enforcement.

FK Partizani demands a full investigation and concrete responsibility for today's failures, as well as a review of the Police's approach to organizing sports events, so that such situations do not happen again. Our club has been and will remain open to cooperation with all institutions to guarantee the safety and smooth running of the matches.
