Albania fails to grab a medal at the Taekwondo World Cup

This time the Taekwondo World Cup was held in Baku, Azerbaijan, from where Albania was represented by the athletes: Ernest Merdanaj, Egers Aliu and Jurido Cani.

Unfortunately, the Albanian athletes did not manage to secure medals for the Red and Black.

From the red and black team, the first in the race were Ernest Merdanaj and Egers Aliu, against whom they lost. In the last match for the red and blacks, in his second match Jurido Cani was eliminated by the Thai Tubtimdang.

In the weight up to 63 kilograms, Can defeated the Australian Samërfiled, while in the second match he did not succeed against the Thai, with the latter going to the final of this event.

As a new sport in Albania, the red and blacks seem to have gained experience in this important tournament.
