Albania, the main candidate for the organization of the European. Cooperation

The Albanian Football Federation can organize another major European football event in Albania.

After the successful organization of the first final of the UEFA Conference League in Tirana in 2022, and winning the right to organize the finals of the 2025 European Championship for the U-17 age group, work is also underway to receive the organization of the European Championship for U-21 .

Albania is one of the main candidates to host the final matches of the 2027 European Championship for U-21 national teams. AFF has sent a request to UEFA, that Albania be one of the host countries for the finals of this competition.

Since the conditions regarding the number of stadiums required for our country to host all the final matches of the U-21 European Championship are not met, the AFL will cooperate with the Serbian Football Federation to jointly host the final phase of the EURO 2027 for the U-21 age group.

This is without a doubt a very ambitious project, which would put Albania in the center of football attention of the entire continent.
