Exploded in Serie A, United target Italian striker

Manchester United are back in the race for Fiorentina striker Moise Kean after his absence from the Champions League affected his summer transfer budget.

Kean is seen as a more affordable alternative compared to other targets such as Viktor Gyokeres, due to his €52m release clause which is only valid for the first 15 days of July.

The Italian striker has found form at Fiorentina and has also returned to the Italian national team. Fiorentina's absence from European competitions could influence the player's decision.

Manchester United see Kean as the right profile for the attacking department. Manager Ruben Amorim, has around 100 million pounds to invest and is looking to strengthen several departments of the team.

For Fiorentina, such a sale would bring a huge financial benefit, as they bought Kean for just 13 million euros from Juventus in the summer of 2024.
