The road to the World Cup, Albania's balance with the group's rivals

The Albanian national team recognized a few days ago the opponents it will face during the qualifying campaign for the 2026 World Championship. England, Serbia, Latvia and Andorra will be Albania's rivals in this campaign.

England : The Reds will start the campaign in March against England and will end it in November 2025 against the Lions. According to the statistics, Albania has faced England only in the qualifiers for the World Championship, and all the matches have resulted in defeats for the Reds and Blacks. The confrontations took place during the qualifications for "Italy 1990", "South Korea - Japan 2002" and "Qatar 2022".

Serbia : Against Serbia, the Reds and Blacks count only two matches, valid for the qualifiers of the "France 2016" European Championship. The balance is equal, one victory for Albania and one for Serbia.

Latvia : For Latvia, the balance is special. In 5 matches played, the two representatives have never gone further than a draw, recognizing three types of draws (0-0 (x2), 1-1, 2-2 and 3-3). 

Andorra : Albania has played 7 times against Andorra, with a favorable balance. The Reds have managed to win 5 times, have recorded 1 draw and only 1 loss.
