A choice that has caused many discussions, that of Ronaldo's departure from the European championships, even if in reality the former Juventus player had no valid offers, both in terms of economics and sports.

The team, who drew in the final week of the championship against Al-Khaleej, are second on 57 points, five behind leaders Al-Ittihad.

But in the meantime, in addition to engaging in the title race, CR7's team is working to find the team's next coach. In this sense, Ronaldo's role can be fundamental, ready to take on the role of sports director.

As mentioned above, after the consensual termination of Rudi Garcia's contract, Al-Nassr entrusted the 49-year-old Croatian coach, Dinko Jelicic. A temporary solution, pending the coach who will lead Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammates next season.

According to "Calciomercato.it", the name already selected by CR7, for which the Saudi club has asked for an opinion given his great footballing experience, is that of Leonardo Jardim.

Currently in charge of Shabab Al Ahli, the club with which he won the championship in the United Arab Emirates, Jardim is on excellent terms with Ronaldo and also shares Madeira with him: both hail from the Portuguese island.

The former Monaco coach, however, is also being followed by Fenerbahçe, which is managed by another Portuguese, Jorge Jesus, with the latter being in doubt.

So, apparently, Jardim will find himself at a crossroads: he will return to European football, where he has been absent since 2019, or he will accept the offer of Al-Nassr and Cristiano Ronaldo.
