Bad news for the National Team, the defender has knee surgery and misses the June qualifiers

A bad news is announced for the Albanian national football team and for the Rome team.

Defender Marash Kumbulla underwent an operation on his right knee this Tuesday, and as a result he will have to stay out of the field for several months.

In an official reaction, the club of Rome informs: " The operation performed by Dr. Andrea Panzeri at the 'Casa di Cura La Madonnina' in Milan, in the presence of the health manager of AS Roma, Dr. Massimo Manara, completed successfully. The footballer will stay for a few days in the Milanese clinic and will soon begin the rehabilitation cycle at the 'Fulvio Bernardini' Sports Center.

Thus, Marash Kumbulla will miss the rest of the season in Serie A and the National Team's "Euro 2024" qualifiers that will take place during the month of June.
