Rejected Albania for Germany, the 50-million man expelled from the team

The footballer of the current champion of Switzerland, Zurich, Donis Avdijaj, has been loaned to Harberg of the Austrian football elite until the end of this edition.

The 26-year-old moved to Swiss side Zurich at the beginning of August, and signed a contract until 2025.

Avdijaj, who has six appearances and two goals scored with Kosovo, played 16 games with Zuerich and recorded three goals and one assist. The news was confirmed on Wednesday by both teams.

"Hartberg tried to transfer me in the last weeks and I thank him for this opportunity. I will do everything to stabilize the team for the next matches, so that we can reach the objective", said Avdijaj about his return to Hartberg.

With Hartberg, Avdijaj spent 11 months, from September 2021 to August 2022. He played 23 games, and contributed seven goals and two assists.

We remember that when he was part of Schalke 04, the club put a 50 million euro clause on him because they considered him a super talent and he refused Albania's invitation because he wanted to play with Germany.
