Behind the scenes at the National Team, Silvinjo "excludes" three players

June's matches in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers have brought noticeable changes to the Albanian National Team's lineup.

Three players who previously had undisputed status: Asani, Ramadani and Bajrami, have lost their starting roles.

After the match against England, where they played from the first minute, all three were benched against Andorra and then against Serbia and Latvia. Bajrami has had limited minutes, while Asani has not been activated at all in the last two challenges.

Silvinho seems to be changing his approach to some players, despite their contribution in the European qualifiers. This brings an end to the previous hierarchy within the group. It remains to be seen in September whether this orientation will continue in the upcoming matches.
