The goalkeeper who scored for Strakosha: It wasn't his fault, I started it for a pass

Albania's goalkeeper, Thomas Strakosha, was the protagonist of a ridiculous goal in the Conference League, against Noah's Armenians. The goalkeeper of the latter, Ognen Kankarevi?, managed to score from gate to gate.

After the match, Kankarevi? spoke about the goal, while declaring that it was absolutely not Strakoša's fault.

"For me it was the first time I scored a goal and I'm obviously happy. Before I only assisted. I set out to find the striker with the ball I hit. It was a strong shot and with the help of the wind the ball went very far.

It was difficult for Strakosha, as the ball bounced in a different way and therefore went into the net. I was surprised, I still don't understand what I did. But only us goalkeepers know how difficult it is to react in such situations, when you don't know what to do as the ball bounces. For me, it was not Strakosha's fault", he emphasized.
